This is THE definitive album in the realm of no-samples vaporwave. It’s not even a subjective take, name another vaporwave album period that was so important that a whole country decided to archive it for historical purposes. The Eyeliner sound has always been consistently great from the beginning, but the tonality and instruments are the most consistent here, really showing off a love for MIDI-type kitsch. There’s some ambient moments, some jams, but never a low point to speak of.
